Hi there, Looking for an AV contractor to guide us through install and picking components needed for our new house in Ridglea Hills – Fort Worth. We would be installing through stacked stone / fireplace. But I would like everything as hidden as possible.
Hello,
The best way to hide wires is to have an electrical installed in the fireplace.
If you have electrical installed behind the tv fireplace location already and no ceiling speakers. A lot of my customers are just using the tv App Store for att cable app, or spectrum tv app, or YouTube tv app, or Hulu app, or a wireless cable box like direct tv’s.
If you have wall /ceiling speakers in that room or If you need a DVD player installed or a wired cable box. – Then you most likely need an hdmi cable to go through the wall to where the equipment will sit (on a side cabinet or etc.)
We would not be interested in running any cables through a stacked rock fireplace. But if that is already done or not needed then a 50 to 70” tv Would be $189 for basic tv installation over a fireplace + $20 for second technician + $35 for hard surface mounting + $5.00 for extra hardware if rock face is uneven. As we don’t know how the rock was installed and since it would be our tv anchor we do not recommended an articulating full motion tv mount. I would recommend a post level tilt tv mount that we have for $159.99.

Or you can purchase your own mount.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if you want to setup a consultation.
Thank You,

i am building a home theater and close to installing new carpet, currently I have a 5.1 system and the rear wires are ran behind the baseboards to conceal them. I am going to upgrade to a 7.1 in the future. When i install the carpet i would like to have the wires already ran under the carpet for the 2 additional speakers since they will be in the center/rear of the room. Can you reccomend what is the best way to do that? My baseboard has very little space for exrta wires, or should or can they be run in the middle of the room from behind the tv stand to the rear speakers? i have attached a diagram to help paint a picture.
Do you service the Coppell area?
Thank you
Coppell is out of our service area but it’s not to far out.
What do you need?
You can text 817-798-5088 if you want.
Thanks
Jonathan
I have a Bose sound bar that appears to be going out, I have to unplug and this sometimes resets it. I need to upgrade and have another sound bar installed, would you do this job, if so I will purchase a new soundbar. Thanks Philip Adams in Cleburne.
Hello,
I am sorry but Cleburne is out of our service area and we will be unable to help.
Thanks

Good evening. I currently have a Sony VPL-HW 45 projector with a ceiling mount. I am wanting to get it calibrated and I will also need it adjusted to fit the screen better. Is this something you can do? We are located in Keller.
Hello,
We don’t offer ISF calibration (image science foundation) for your projector.
That projector has 25% horizontal lens shift and a large zoom lens along with blanking – so we should be able to get the image to fit the screen.
If you want to proceed the minimum is $130.
Might be able to fit you in after 4 on Monday (tomorrow) or Tuesday or around 1 pm on Wednesday.
Thanks

Since Logitech Harmony remotes are being discontinued, what is a recommended alternative?
We are still using a couple harmonies we have left in stock and then we will probably transition to pro control. It will be a little bit more money but should be able to accomplish the same thing. Or go to a higher end brand like RTI or control4 or savant. And the harmony remote will still work for five years at least if you still have one or do you need me to quote you a pro control.
Thanks
Jonathan
